Cuban Food Since 1988

In Silver Lake, on Sunset Blv, El Cochinito, "The Little Pig". The most authentic Cuban restaurant in Los Angeles opened in 1988 by Gladys Gutierrez, our abuela. El Cochinito takes inspiration from traditional homestyle cuisine. We serve all the Cuban classics and are known for our -lechon asado- slow roasted pork. The restaurant's history goes back to the 1950's in Havana, Cuba where Glady's father opened his restaurant. El Cochinito, now its third generation, remains faithful to the traditions left by our abuela and bisabuelo.
